In the mobile app
Sign in, open More, tap Delete account, enter your password and, when 2FA is enabled, a valid email or authenticator code, then choose the deletion option available for your account.
- Delete my user removes your login/profile immediately and schedules related account records for purge.
- Request company deletion is used when you are the primary admin, other users exist, or billing is active. We verify authority and billing before the company purge.
Web request form
If you cannot access the app, submit this form. Requests are sent to sales@steerthebooks.com and completed within 30 days after authority and billing checks.
Timing and legal records
User profiles, sessions, tokens and user-specific records are removed immediately after verification. Company records are purged within 30 days after verification, subject to active contract/billing obligations. Invoices, legally required tax records, security/audit evidence and backups may be retained as permitted by law; backups roll off on the documented schedule.
